Every other Tacoma trim uses the i-FORCE MAX Hybrid which takes that same 2.4-liter turbo engine and pairs it with an electric motor between the engine and transmission to give you 278 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. It's automatic transmission only, with front- or all-wheel drive, and provides ample efficiency.
It's expected that the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma is going to offer standout payload and towing, with current estimates being around 6,000 pounds for towing and up to 1,700 pounds of payload.
The new Tacoma is a standout with modern technology, as there's a standard eight-inch infotainment display, as well as larger 14-inch options available. You will find features like wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ along with an available wireless charging pad for your devices. There's also a Bluetooth® speaker that can be detached to use elsewhere from the top of the dashboard.
There are many driver assistance features available that include standard features like forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control, with options for blind spot monitoring and other features that give you the confidence to feel safe when you drive.
The new design of the 2024 Tacoma can be seen through its cabin, which comes in multiple sizes. There's the Double Cab and XtraCab, the former of which can be paired with multiple truck beds, while you enjoy seating for up to five and find different features within reach, with seats made of comfortable materials so you and your passengers can enjoy the ride.
