Dealer Notes

The 2020 Toyota Camry proves that sensibility and exhilarating performance are quite compatible. With its sleek exterior and wide stance, it’s a stylish packages that pushes all the right buttons. Although the new 2020 Toyota Camry is a more exciting driving machine, it still offers the same practicality so many people have grown to love over the years. Base models feature a responsive 203-hp 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that squeezes an impressive 29 mpg in town and 41 mpg on the highway. All models come standard with Toyota Safety Sense. This system provides the accident-avoidance technologies today’s drivers want. Pre-collision braking, radar-based cruise control and lane departure warning with steering assist are all standard. Inside, there’s room for five and a sizeable trunk. Camry L, LE, SE and TRD models have a six-speaker audio system controlled by a standard 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity with Amazon Alexa compatibility, one USB media port, 2 USB charge ports (except for L trim), advanced voice recognition and Bluetooth. An all-wheel-drive system is available on LE, SE, XLE, and XSE trim levels on cars equipped with an inline-4 only. Camrys with an L in their badges have a soft ride paired with light, accurate steering. They roll into corners when pushed, though they never feel sloppy. S and XSE version have a stiffer suspension and a lower ride height, as well as more steering heft. With a dozen trims, there’s something for everyone.

Very disappointed in this car. The seat hurts my back, I bought a memory foam cushion to install in my seat in order to drive it. It has had 1 recall and now has been in shop for a week: the whole instrument panel went out. I believe I purchased a “lemon”.
  • Faulty electronic system/battery drain

Don't buy this car! After 3 months a full battery will drain in serval hours. Dealership says the battery is fine and may be a sensor issue. I refuse to believe they haven't seen this issue already based on all the complaints I have read. Completely unreliable for any vehicle let alone a brand new one. Be prepared for multiple trips to the dealer with no results. At this point I expect to file for lemon law. Besides that the car has no head room for a tall person. The windshield has a horrible angle that distorts the view when you wear eye glasses. The front plate mount rattles super loud at idle. The SE is too low making it easy to scrape the front bumper. The lane sensor sucks. Ironic I bought it because Toyota's have a reputation for reliability. My 07 with 150,000 is more reliable. What a joke. I'm incredibly disappointed with this vehicle.
