The 2017 Toyota Camry
The 2017 Honda Accord
When you’re on the market for a new sedan in Virginia, where do you start? Ourisman Chantilly Toyota has pulled together two top options, the 2017 Toyota Camry and the 2017 Honda Accord. These are both best-selling vehicles in the U.S, so let’s compare them and see which option is best for you.
An area these sedans mainly differ in is their interior and technology features. The Camry has some features you can’t even get on many trim levels of the Accord, such as a standard power driver’s seat. The base model of the Camry comes standard with the Entune™ audio system, a 6.1” touch-screen. Unfortunately, most users of the Honda touch-screen infotainment system have had complaints about the difficulties of operating it.
Power and Efficiency
The Accord does beat the Camry when it comes to power and fuel efficiency; however, the differences are very slight and won’t matter much in the long run. The Camry is actually the better option in this category, due to its more effortless drive. AutoGuide.com stated that the Camry provides a better overall ride than the Accord: “It’s smoother in all its primary controls, like steering, acceleration, and braking.”
There are some major recalls that the Camry has not been a part of and the Accord has. Nearly every model year of the Accord has had some type of recall issue, causing the Camry to win this battle. Additionally, the Camry has been rated as more dependable by the J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study. The Accord has received poor ratings in the past and is improving little by little, but the Camry still comes out on top. .”
