More power—that's what you wanted from us. And that's what's created in the tC’s 2.4-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC) 16-valve EFI with Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i) technology, plus a compression ratio of 9.6:1 to produce 161 hp @ 5,700 rpm and a hefty 163 lb.-ft. @ 4,000 rpm.

In addition to raw power, the tC also boasts low emissions, low noise levels, and an impressive fuel economy. Manual transmissions are rated at 20 city/27 highway miles, and automatics at 21 city/29 highway.
